Dog Training Overview

The spcaLA Training and Behavior department provides an atmosphere where shelter animals become more adoptable and are cared for both physically and emotionally. The primary goal is to socialize and exercise the dogs and to encourage the human-animal bond. spcaLA strives to help the animals get adopted successfully into long-term, loving homes. With the dog training classes and free behavior helpline for the public, spcaLA has provided post-adoption support that is necessary to keep pets with their families.

CLASSES OFFERED

spcaLA offers puppy and adult obedience classes, agility classes, and specialty classes such as Come When Called and Obedience for Agility.
