PET FOOD

We are most in need of the following:

  • Dry dog food
  • Canned dog food
  • Dry kibble (small bites) for dogs

While these items represent the areas of greatest deficit, we are also in need of puppy and kitten food, dry and canned cat food, special-diet food for sick animals and cat litter.

What you can do to help

  • Make a donation to spcaLA.  Click here to donate or mail a check to spcaLA  5026 W. Jefferson Blvd, Los Angeles, CA  90016.
  • Drop off unopened food at one of spcaLA’s locations, during business hours.  Click here for locations and hours. 
  • Hold a food drive a your school, business, church or other location and drop off the items at one of spcaLA’s locations.  Email info@spcaLA.com for more details, or to request a PDF of a flyer to distribute. 
  • If you, or someone you know, works for a retail outlet (grocery store, discount outlet, warehouse store, etc), production company or logistics firm that can donate large quantities of any of these items, call (323) 730-5300, x233 or email info@spcaLA.com  to set up pick up or delivery.

spcaLA welcomes all donations.  Due to staffing and vehicle concerns, spcaLA is not able to pick up donations from individuals.  For more details about the current food shortage, and the factors leading up to it, please click here.
