Planning for your Pet's Future
The Peace of Mind Pet Re-Homing Program is for those precious little loved ones that you care so much about. Typically, we expect our pet to live a shorter life than its human counterpart. Unfortunately, sometimes it is the human caregiver who becomes ill or dies first.
To ensure that your beloved pet will continue to receive excellent care should something happen to you, it's critical to plan ahead. spcaLA will work with you to document all of your specific wishes and give you peace of mind that your pet will be in a loving home.
For more information, please call Fund Development at 1-888-spca-LA1, ext. 233.
PLEASE NOTE: spcaLA’s Pet Re-Homing program is meant to find new, loving homes for pets whose owners are deceased, if their owners made provisions for spcaLA to care for their pets in the event of their passing.
If you have a pet for whom you can no longer care, please call (888) spca-LA1 or click here to view a list of shelters. If your pet is experiencing a behavioral problem, please call our FREE behavior helpline at (888) spca-LA1, x260.
