Humane Education
Classroom Presentations & Outreach
Classroom Presentations
Due to an increased of need in other areas of Humane Education, educators are not available to offer in-classroom presentations at this time. However, we do offer “Do-It-Yourself” online presentations for your convenience.
We are still available to come to your school or classroom if there is an imminent need for anti-cruelty education. For example, if animal abuse occurs in your school or city, please contact us immediately so that we can address this issue with the children as soon as possible.
If you are a middle school or high school whose population has high levels of violence or works with troubled youth, please consider bringing our Teaching Love and Compassion (TLC) program to your school.
For any further questions, please contact us at HumaneEducation@spcaLA.com or at (310) 676-1149, ext 228.
Outreach
Humane Educators are also available for a variety of outreaches throughout the year. In past we have attended such events as:
- Girl Scout Cookie Kick Off
- Girl Scout BIG Expo
- Natural History Museum’s Bug Fair
- Various large scale career days
If you have an outreach that you think would benefit from having spcaLA’s Humane Educators attend, please do not hesitate to contact the Humane Education department at HumaneEducation@spcaLA.com.
