TIPSTER ALERTS spcaLA TO ABUSE
Abused Dog Seized by spcaLA Humane Officers
Los Angeles – Humane Officers from the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles (spcaLA) investigated a cruelty tip yesterday and discovered a Cocker Spaniel mix in need of assistance in the Willowbrook area of Los Angeles. The dog was seized from the property and is currently receiving medical treatment from spcaLA’s veterinary staff.
Responding to a call on spcaLA’s Animal Cruelty Tipline, the officers found the dog with severely matted fur, flea infestation and what appears to be “cherry eye” in both eyes. Thanks to a good citizen and spcaLA, the dog is receiving the treatment he needs and the matter is being investigated further.
Animal cruelty can be reported to spcaLA’s Animal Cruelty Tipline
