Mark & Brian Pet Adoption Day, hosted by spcaLA, presented by 95.5 KLOS

Los Angeles, CA—For the sixth consecutive year, the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles (spcaLA) is hosting Mark & Brian Pet Adoption Day at spcaLA’s P.D. Pitchford Companion Animal Village & Education Center, 7700 E. Spring St., in Long Beach. The Mark & Brian Pet Adoption Day hosted by spcaLA, presented by 95.5 KLOS is Saturday, June 11th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sponsors include VCA Animal Hospitals, VPI Pet Insurance, and Dick Van Patten’s Natural Balance Pet Foods, Inc.
The Mark & Brian Pet Adoption Day features puppies, kittens, dogs, cats and rabbits looking for forever homes. Each adoption includes initial vaccinations, spaying or neutering, a free veterinary examination, microchip and a GIFT BAG full of items for the new pet.
95.5 KLOS will broadcast from the Village and fans can meet and take photos with Mark & Brian. Other activities include:
- Silent auction featuring a guitar signed by WWE and Dancing with the Stars’, Chris Jericho and a copy of his book, Undisputed or an In-Studio Meet and Greet with Mark & Brian at 95.5 KLOS;
- $1 donation to enter a drawing for a chance to win one of three raffle baskets;
- Performances by Tillman & Friends—the Skateboarding Dog;
- Appearance by Los Angeles Dodger, Steve Garvey at the Natural Balance booth;
- Ask the Vet booth staffed by shelter sponsor, VCA Animal Hospitals;
- Ask the Trainer booth staffed by spcaLA Animal Trainers;
- Dog agility demonstration;
- Refreshing hot and iced beverages from Don Francisco’s Coffees;
- Los Angeles Kings Ice Crew;
- Traveling Treats Shaved Ice;
- Photo booth provided by shelter sponsor, VCA Animal Hospitals;
- Fun, informative & interactive booths from 95.5 KLOS, VCA Animal Hospitals, VPI Pet Insurance, Natural Balance Pet Foods, Natura Pet Products, i Love Dogs Inc, Swheat Scoop, Ralphs, Don Francisco’s Coffee, Travelling Treats, Stella & Chewy’s, Long Beach Animal Care Services, and spcaLA.
spcaLA’s P.D. Pitchford Companion Animal Village is located at 7700 East Spring St. in Long Beach. Parking for the event is located in El Dorado Park—entrance off Spring street.
