spcaLA is happy to offer financial assistance for spay/neuter surgeries for those who qualify, while funding lasts.  spcaLA also accepts LA Animal Services' Big Fix Discount Coupons in the amount of $30 for all dog and cat spay/neuter surgeries.  Coupons can be picked up at any LA Animal Services Care Center or at a participating nonprofit .  For more information about financial assistance, coupons or to make your appointment, call (323) 730-5303 or email spayneuter@spcaLA.com. Effective immediately: LA Animal Services’ Big Fix Discount Coupons in the amount of $30 may only be applied for the spay/neuter of cats and dogs owned by residents of the City of Los Angeles.  The coupons may not be applied to the spay/neuter of feral cats.

Feral cats must be brought into the clinic in humane traps. No feral cats should be brought in carriers, cardboard boxes, taming cages or makeshift carriers. Bringing a feral cat in a carrier is very unsafe because our veterinary technicians must remove the cat from the carrier in order to anesthetize the cat, which creates a VERY UNSAFE situation for both the cat and the veterinary technician.  The trap provides both a safer and easier way for our veterinary technicians to anesthetize the cat, and to monitor the cat’s recovery. We thank you for your cooperation.

Additional charges will apply for surgery complications, including, but not limited to pregnant or in-heat females and other conditions.  FELV/FIV and heartworming testing, as well as nail trimming will be available at the time of surgery ONLY. Additonal fees apply for all additional services and surgical complications.

Routine vaccinations (Rabies, Bordetella, DHPP, FVRCP, Leukemia), microchips and deworming are available at the time of surgery or during Vaccination Clinic Hours. For more information about and rates for the vaccination clinic, click here.

Various products, including flea treatment, cat pillers, e-collars** and more available for purchase at any time.  All prices are subject to change without notice.

*Post operative pain management will not be available for feral cats.
**E-collars will be included in the cost of surgery, for those surgeries after which they are required.
