spcaLA Spay/Neuter Center

Please be advised that spcaLA has ceased the daily operation of our spay/neuter clinic, and instead will participate and coalesce with other community groups in targeted, outreach and event efforts.

spcaLA was the first organization in Los Angeles to sterilize animals before placing them in homes long before the enactment of legal mandates and trendy public relations campaigns. Our commitment to that principle remains unaltered and undiluted. To that end our resources will be redirected to maximize our success in fulfilling our mission and our spay/neuter objectives.

To obtain a copy of your pet's spay/neuter or vaccine records please email your request to info@spcaLA.com with Clinic Records in the subject line, or call (323)730-5303 and leave a message. Please include your first and last name, your pet's name, the type of information requested, your telephone number and the email, fax or physical address to which you would like your records sent. Please allow at least 5 business days for your request to be fulfilled.

Importance of Spaying/Neutering Your Pet

Spaying or neutering your pets is the law in the City of Los Angeles, as well as other parts of the Southland. By spaying or neutering your pets, you reduce the risk of certain cancers and curb negative behaviors like marking, roaming, and mood swings associated with heat cycles.
