Pet Postcards Project

Gigi wants YOUR help to earn spcaLA TONS of Rachael Ray Nutrish Dog Food!
Former shelter pup, Gigi, an 8 lb rat terrier mix is this month's www.thepetpostcardproject.com spokesdog. She chose spcaLA as her charity because she had a tail waggin' good time taking agility classes at spcaLA. Gigi knows that spcaLA receives no government funding yet helps the homeless critters of Southern California and is there for the community during emergencies helping pets displaced by fires, floods and more. As a former pound puppy herself Gigi remembers what it is like to be hungry. She does not want her friends at the shelter to worry about where they will get their next bowl of food.
Gigi is so happy to help earn kibble for the spcaLA dogs! But, how will she do it? Gigi is pretty amazing, being an agility champion AND a doggie model and actress, but can she really do this all alone? Of course not! Gigi is asking people like YOU to send 4x6" decorated postcards featuring their pets and a caption revealing their thoughts, advice and confessions. Gigi's goal for March is 500 cards. If she reaches that goal, the spcaLA will receive 64,000 pounds of food! No, that is not a typo. 32 TONS of food or 128 pounds of food for EACH postcard sent in.
The card's are easy to make. Just glue your pets' photo on a 4x6" paper and caption it. You can even do it on the computer! Click here to see some examples. Each entrant is also eligible to win awesome prizes from the Pet Postcard Project website. Send in as many cards as you like; just be creative and have fun!
Postcards can be sent to:
