spcaLA’s Total Package Pets

Nothing could be better than a wet nose and a wagging tail for the holidays! But who to choose? spcaLA makes it easy for you to pick the best pet for your family with Total Package Pets! These pets are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and ready to go home. They have been KID APPROVED* or temperament tested by the spcaLA Animal Behavior & Training Department so they’ll make a great addition to your family. spcaLA is open on Christmas Eve day for pick-up which means BIG surprises for your loved ones on Christmas morning!

To make sure your match is a successful one, spcaLA’s Animal Behavior & Training Department will give you and your dog a FREE one hour private training session! One of our trainers will show you the training commands your dog has learned and teach you how you can continue those good behaviors.

Before you head home with your new pet, stop at the spcaLA Marketplace in Long Beach or the South Bay Mini Mart for pet supplies like collars, leashes, kitty litter supplies, food, treats, and toys. Use your Adoption Rewards coupons for extra savings.

I'm an active, fun, and sweet guy! I love other dogs, especially small ones. I even like cats! I do best with my Gentle Leader collar which keeps me from pulling on the leash. I graduated from a spcaLA basic obedience class and I'm currently participating in the Teaching Love and Compassion program where I'm being trained by the kids in the at-risk youth program. I'd love to meet you!

I am a sweet boy! My owner had to give me up because they could not afford to care for me. I love kids and I know how to play ball, roll over, and sit. I am good with cats and other dogs. Did I mention I like car rides? Wheeeee!!

1-years-old female Pit Bull Terrier

In my temperament test, I showed excellent impulse control and a great personality. I would be good for a home with kid and a first time owner. I have a medium activity level so daily walks and play time will suit me just fine. Because of my coat, my grooming costs will be pretty low. Just daily brushes and regularly bathing and I will be content. (Polly needs to be spayed before she goes home so please allow for extra time.)

I'm a super sweet girl! I participated in spcaLA’s summer camp and am learning more obedience in the TLC program where I'm being trained by at-risk youth.
