Free Gift Bag: World Spay Day is February 28th! Make an appointment for a spay or neuter surgery on that day and receive a FREE gift bag for your pet.

Pet Photo Contest: Help spcaLA raise funds for spay/neuter surgeries by entering your pet in the World Spay Day Pet Photo Contest! Contest goes live February 1st. Be sure and select spcaLA as your charity of choice and vote, vote, vote! Spread the word and ask your friends and family to do the same. Enter your pet here. Pet photo contest begins February 1st and ends February 29th.

Low Cost Vaccine Clinic to celebrate World Spay Day: spcaLA is hosting a Low Cost Vaccine Clinic at the Santa Monica Red Cross’ Annual Pet Fair & Chip-a-thon on February 25th, 9am-3pm in Cloverfield Park (2600 Ocean Park Blvd.) in Santa Monica. FREE microchips until supplies last. Mobile pet adoption, info booths, contests, and more!

Enter to Win a Professional Pet Photography Package: spcaLA is hosting a prize drawing to raise funds for spay/neuter surgeries! For a $1 donation, enter to win a professional photo shoot from pet photographer, Chris Massa. Enter to win now through February 29th.

Spay Is For Girls: Actors and Others for Animals has joined spcaLA’s World Spay Day celebrations and will offer FREE spay surgeries for the female cats of low-income cat guardians in the month of February. For more information and to find out if you qualify, please call Actors and Other for Animals at 818-755-6045 and inquire about the “SPAY IS FOR GIRLS” program. The program is available for owned cats only (limit 2 per household), while funding lasts. Surgeries will be performed at the spcaLA Specialty Spay/Neuter Center in Los Angeles in the month of February 2012.
