Low Cost Vaccine Clinic to celebrate World Spay Day: spcaLA is hosting a Low Cost Vaccine Clinic at the Santa Monica Red Cross Annual Pet Fair & Chip-a-thon on February 25th, 9am-3pm in Cloverfield Park (2600 Ocean Park Blvd.) in Santa Monica. FREE microchips until supplies last. Mobile pet adoption, info booths, contests, and more!

Spay Is For Girls: Actors and Others for Animals has joined spcaLAs World Spay Day celebrations and will offer FREE spay surgeries for the female cats of low-income cat guardians in the month of February. For more information and to find out if you qualify, please call Actors and Other for Animals at 818-755-6045 and inquire about the SPAY IS FOR GIRLS program. The program is available for owned cats only (limit 2 per household), while funding lasts. Surgeries will be performed at the spcaLA Specialty Spay/Neuter Center in Los Angeles in the month of February 2012.
