Pop Up Art Show to Benefit spcaLA

Celebrated artist Jocelyn Josef, who is featured on Huffington Post Arts & Culture blog, will be showcased at a pop up art event, which will be held next door to Los Feliz’s storied Skylight bookstore and theatre company. The event will feature works from Josef’s new series, “The Journal of a Woman in Love.”
Josef’s work is inspired by Picasso’s Cubism and Modernist period, and her Abstract Pop Squarism, a genre Josef originated, is recognizable by its vibrant colors and dancing tapestry with a 3D effect. Also featured in this premier art opening is Josef’s iconic Pop Collage collection. These Mixed Media Collage pieces are inspired by Warhol and Basquiat’s collaboration period.
Along with Josef’s vivid artwork, this event will feature a raw juice tasting sponsored by Clover Juice.
