Join Los Angeles’ first and finest animal welfare organization as a veterinarian! Dedicated to the prevention of animal cruelty through Education, Law Enforcement, Intervention and Advocacy, spcaLA focuses on shelter animals’ quality of life.

As an spcaLA veterinarian, you will make a direct impact on the lives of abandoned, abused, and neglected animals by managing herd health, supporting animal cruelty investigations, implementing low-cost vaccination clinics, and more.

  • Facilitate care for animals at spcaLA shelters.
  • Provide expert testimony for animal cruelty cases.
  • Serve on spcaLA’s Disaster Animal Response Team (DART)™ and more!

This is a part-time position working out of spcaLA’s Pet Adoption Centers.

Essential qualifications: Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM); license in good standing with California State Veterinary Board.
