Los Angeles, CA– spcaLA is offering early Clear the Shelters pricing starting Wednesday, August 16th. Qualified adopters can adopt a pet for free* starting Wednesday, August 16th until August 20th in advance of Clear the Shelters.

“We’ve seen a 60% increase in animals in our care over last year at this time,” said spcaLA President, Madeline Bernstein. “With so many adorable, adoptable cat, kittens, dogs, and other pets, we extended Clear the Shelters pricing to accommodate all of our potential adopters.”
Adoptable pets are available to view at spcaLA.com/adopt. Adoptions are done first-come, first-serve during business hours, though adopters can save time by filling out an application in advance (submitting an application does not guarantee adoption or reserve an animal). All spcaLA adoption requirements apply.
*Adoption special available for qualified adopters at spcaLA Pet Adoption Centers 8/16/23 to 8/20/23. Offer excludes puppies (dogs ages 3 months or younger). Fees may apply for spay/neuter deposit and/or medication. Offer can be revoked or changed at any time.
