Most domestic violence shelters cannot accomodate pets and many domestic violence survivors will not leave a dangerous situation out of fear for the safety of their animals. In 1998, spcaLA created Animal Safety Net (ASN)™ – a program that provides safe, temporary shelter to the pets of domestic violence survivors, free-of-charge.
Today, spcaLA offers the ASN™ manual as a free resource for animal shelters and other organizations who wish to offer the program in their communities.
Please fill out the information below to request the Animal Safety Net™ manual.
