Los Angeles, CA — Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles (spcaLA) is thrilled to announce the receipt of a grant from the PEDIGREE Foundation in support of spcaLA’s Foster Program.

This $15,000 grant will help spcaLA expand its fostering program specifically for “staycation” pets — animals who stay with a foster family for a few days, getting a chance to decompress and enjoy a home environment.
“We are so appreciative to PEDIGREE Foundation for awarding us this grant,” said Madeline Bernstein, spcaLA President. “This will certainly bolster our efforts to provide positive outcomes for shelter pets.”
Individuals who would like to join spcaLA’s Foster Program can visit spcaLA.com/volunteer and submit an interest form. Last year, spcaLA Foster Volunteers donated 18,298 hours fostering animals in need.
