Los Angeles, CA –Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles (spcaLA) is excited to announce that affordable dog obedience classes are now offered at the spcaLA South Bay Pet Adoption Center (12910 Yukon Ave. Hawthorne, 90250). spcaLA training classes are designed to help dogs and their families build strong foundations for lifelong success. Classes are limited to just eight students and are taught by experienced instructors who use positive-reinforcement methods in a welcoming, supportive environment.

New classes starting April 21st:

  • Puppy Kindergarten (3-6 months old): This class focuses on basic obedience, essential social skills, and early prevention of unwanted behaviors. Boost your puppy’s confidence and foster good manners from a young age.
  • Level 1: Magical Manners (16+ weeks): Designed for adolescent and adult dogs, this class covers essential commands such as touch, down, wait, come, and more. Help your dog develop reliable manners at home and in the community.

“These classes are a great way to strengthen the bond between pets and their families while giving dogs the tools they need to thrive,” said Madeline Bernstein, President spcaLA. “Whether you’re welcoming a new puppy or reinforcing skills with an older dog, our positive-reinforcement training approach supports every stage.”

Classes begin April 21. Space is limited so sign up today! Register at spcaLA.com/train.
