Los Angeles, CA — Valentine’s Day is all about love, so what better way to celebrate than by giving a shelter pet a loving home? Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles (spcaLA) is offering $14 adoption fees on February 14th at spcaLA adoption centers in Hawthorne and Long Beach. The adoption special is also available at Long Beach Animal Care Services, spcaLA’s long-time adoption partner.

“Whether you’re looking for a cuddly companion to stream your favorite shows with or an active partner for outdoor adventures, we have the perfect pet waiting for you,” said Madeline Bernstein, spcaLA President.

Adoptions include spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, and a certificate for a free health exam at a participating veterinary hospital. The adoption special is for qualified adopters only, and excludes puppies 3 months and under. Additional fees for medications or spay/neuter deposit may apply.
