Los Angeles, CA — Registration begins Monday, April 7th at 12:00pm for Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles (spcaLA) Friends for Life Summer Camp™. Camp is for kids 9-14 years old.

Friends for Life Camp begins June 23rd at the spcaLA P.D. Pitchford Companion Animal Village & Education Center in Long Beach. There are seven, one-week sessions available. Each session is broken into two age groups: Beagles ages 9-11 and Boxers ages 12-14. Campers learn about pet responsibility, kindness to animals, and positive reinforcement dog training. Camp begins June 20th in Long Beach

Friends for Life Camp started in 2004 and is beneficial to the community both in and out of the shelter. Campers learn valuable lessons about animal related topics while providing socialization and basic training to dozens of shelter dogs each summer.
