Los Angeles, CA–PackHire, a new employment search engine and recruiting firm for the pet industry, announces its first ever partnership with Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles (spcaLA) for the April Pet Adoption & Fundraising Week. The event aims to raise funds and find forever homes for some fun, furry, and special animals.
Adoptable pets will be featured on spcaLA and PackHire’s joint Instagram live on April 19th and 26th. The virtual pet adoption and fundraising two-week special will last from April 19th – May 2nd. In-kind gift donations (unopened pet food, toys, blankets, litter, beds and treats) can be dropped off at the spcaLA South Bay Adoption Center (12910 Yukon Avenue Hawthorne, CA 90250), and interested pet parents can view adoptable pets and begin the adoption process online at spcaLA.com. Donations can be made through spcaLA.com/donate.
PackHire hopes to find homes for five pets and raise $3,000 in donations that will go towards animal medical expenses, behavioral training, vaccinations, spay and neutering, and purchasing much needed pet food and supplies.
“Showing kindness and compassion towards animals is one of the hallmarks of a healthy, vibrant community, and spcaLA has been a valuable community partner and advocate in this space for over 140 years,” said PackHire Founder Seda Bolulu. “That is why we chose to team up with this amazing organization.”
PackHire partnered with spcaLA because animal welfare and building pet-friendly communities are some of the core values behind the company’s mission. PackHire is the only employment search platform and recruiting service connecting pet people with careers exclusively in the pet industry.
“PackHire has aligned business with philanthropy to support a cause which is a natural fit,” said spcaLA President Madeline Bernstein. “They have our gratitude for their donation which helps support our programs and services.”
