Los Angeles, CA (9/16/19) – Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles’ (spcaLA) annual cats and kittens adoption event, CatX, is Saturday, September 21st, from 10:00am to 4:00pm at the spcaLA South Bay Pet Adoption Center located at 12910 Yukon Avenue in Hawthorne. During CatX, adopters can pick their own price on feline adoption fees (qualified adopters; $10 minimum).
CatX adopters receive a goodie bag filled with items for their new feline friend, plus giveaways and vendor booths from Just Food For Dogs, Trupanion, Renewal by Anderson, and Vetted Pet Care. Special thanks to Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Manhattan Beach and Tin Roof Bistro for providing food and beverages for the spcaLA staff and volunteers working the event.
The adoption fee includes the spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccinations, and microchip. All cat adopters are given a certificate for a free health examination at a participating VCA Veterinary Hospital and a temporary cat carrier.
