Pick your own price pet adoption fees at all spcaLA pet adoption centers
Los Angeles, CA – Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles (spcaLA) is offering “Pick Your Own Price” pet adoption fees for qualified adopters! Red, White & Woof + meow is June 27th – July 1st at all spcaLA pet adoption centers: PD Pitchford Companion Animal Village & Education Center in Long Beach, South Bay Pet Adoption Center in Hawthorne, and PetSmart Charities™ Everyday Adoption Center in Pico Rivera.
Adopt July 4th Weekend!
Qualified adopters can pick their own price from 1 dollar to 1 million dollars when adding a participating pet to their family July 4th weekend. The “Pick Your Own Price” is available to qualified adopters. All potential adopters must fill out an application, and meet adoption guidelines. Adoption requirements and guidelines are available for view at spcaLA.com.
More pets come into the shelter over July 4th than any other time of year. spcaLA is hoping the pet adoption special will encourage people to adopt, but also make room in the shelter for pets who go missing when frightened during Independence Day fireworks celebrations.
Pet owners should make sure pets are properly identified with a collar and tags as well as a microchip, and that all the information is correct. Keep pets inside during fireworks displays to prevent them from running away. For a full list of July 4th Pet Tips, visit spcaLA.com.
