spcaLA adopted out 97 cats & kittens at CatConLA® this weekend  

Los Angeles, CA –Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles (spcaLA) found homes for 97 cats and kittens at CatConLA®, presented by Hills® Science Diet® and Petco, this weekend. In its second year, the event held at The Reef in downtown LA, celebrates all things cat and the people who love them.

A team of 40 spcaLA staff and volunteers cared for the felines, facilitated adoptions, and guided visitors through the 3,000-square-foot Clowder Adoption Lounge, presented by sponsors, Hill’s® Science Diet® and Petco.  The Lounge featured 5 free roaming catteries, similar to those at spcaLA’s pet adoption centers.

For those interesting in adopting, spcaLA has three pet adoption centers in greater Los Angeles, located in Hawthorne, Long Beach, and Pico Rivera.  All adoptable pets can be viewed at spcaLA.com.
