Los Angeles, CA — Just in time for gifts for mom, dad, and grads, Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles (spcaLA) hosts a Spring Maker’s Market, 10:00am to 1:00pm on Saturday, April 6th at the PD Pitchford Companion Animal Village in Long Beach. This unique market showcases local artisans and helps homeless pets.
This year’s Maker’s Market is shaping up to be the biggest one yet. “This is our 8th Maker’s Market and we are thrilled to host so many talented small businesses who want to support shelter animals,” said Miriam Davenport, spcaLA Vice President. In lieu of an event fee, market vendors will donate a small portion of their sales to spcaLA. “Remember,” said Davenport, “the more you shop the more you help the abused and abandoned animals in our care.”
At the Market, shop hand-crafted items like jewelry, candles, soaps, pet items, clothing, art, and pottery, and refresh with cold-pressed juices or baked goods. All vendors are local to the area.
This Saturday, shop small and support spcaLA!
