Adoption fees waived at all spcaLA Pet Adoption Centers Saturday, March 28th
Los Angeles, CA — Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles (spcaLA) has transferred 30 dogs from Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control (DACC) to help ease space in the County’s shelters. On March 20, 2026, spcaLA assisted the County with the seizure of more than 300 animals from a rescue facility in the Lake Hughes area. Those seized animals are in the care of DACC.
To help these pets find loving homes, spcaLA is waiving pet adoption fees for all pets at all spcaLA Pet Adoption Centers on Saturday, March 28, 2026.
Adoption fees are generously sponsored by LA Custom Blinds and Smart & Final as part of Puppy Palooza, an event spcaLA and ABC7 have proudly partnered on for the past three years.
Adoption special is for qualified adopters. Adoptable pets are available to view at spcaLA.com/adopt. Additional fees for spay/neuter deposit or medications may apply. All adoptions come with spay/neuter surgery, microchip, appropriate vaccines, a certificate for a free health exam, and more.
