World Rabies Day Reminder to Keep Pet Vaccines Current

Los Angeles, CA – Today is World Rabies Day and Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles (spcaLA) reminds pet owners to keep rabies vaccines up to date for the health and safety of their pets. spcaLA is hosting a Low Cost Vaccine Clinic on October 22nd in Plummer Park in the City of West Hollywood. Rabies vaccines will be offered for $7.

County of Los Angeles Public Health reports that 32 rabid bats have been found in Los Angeles County in September 27, 2016. 56% of them were found at private residences.

The Saturday October 22nd clinic will be held from 10am to 2pm in the Community Center of Plummer Park located at 7377 Santa Monica Blvd., West Hollywood, CA. spcaLA offers low cost clinics routinely throughout the year.
