You Pet, I Pet, We All Play with iPet

Los Angeles, CA – Today, Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles (spcaLA) is activating the iPET Companion system at the P.D. Pitchford Companion Animal Village & Education Center in Long Beach. iPet Companion is the world’s first interactive, web-based pet toy. With its unique technology, the iPet Companion system allows online users to play with shelter animals in real time via the internet—from anywhere in the world. This is a joint venture between spcaLA and Long Beach Animal Care Services.

“This is another great tool to showcase our adoptable cats,” said Madeline Bernstein, President spcaLA. “I’m thrilled that spcaLA and Long Beach Animal Care Services can find unique ways to work together to get more pets into homes.”

The goal of iPet Companion’s shelter project is to connect adoptable pets with potential adopters. Learn more at ipetcompanion.com.
