VIRTUAL CLASSROOM VISITS
spcaLA’s Humane Educators look forward to visiting your virtual classroom! Each presentation is adapted for different grade levels in a way that covers the topic’s foundational concepts while encouraging age-appropriate discussion. As such, each presentation topic is available to a wide range of grade levels, with more thorough or sensitive material included for older students. Below you will find the overarching questions that guide each presentation, and which topics are available to which grade levels.
Based on your request, each presentation may be 20 minutes (for grades K-2), 30 minutes, or 45 minutes. In order to best engage students, we ask that teachers plan to schedule a minimum of two visits for the same group of students, within a 2-month period.
